1. Acceptance and Eligibility

By using FolaDeals, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. You must be legally capable of entering a contract in your jurisdiction and comply with all applicable laws.

2. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for account activity, credentials, and device security. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it when it changes.

3. Membership and Billing

Paid plans are billed through supported payment providers. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled before renewal. Taxes, bank fees, and currency conversion charges may apply.

We may suspend or cancel access for failed payments, fraud risk, abuse, or legal compliance reasons.

4. Deals, Availability, and Redemption

Deal terms are set by merchants and may change, expire, or be withdrawn. Availability is not guaranteed. In-person redemptions and digital purchases are subject to verification and anti-fraud controls.

FolaDeals may remove or hide listings that are misleading, expired, duplicated, unlawful, or harmful to users.

In-person offers may use staged payment: reservation charge now and remaining balance at merchant desk redemption. Where required, explicit mandate acceptance is collected and recorded before further staged-use.

5. Merchant Responsibilities

Merchants must provide accurate listing content, lawful offers, and honor confirmed redemptions according to published terms. Merchants are responsible for taxes, regulatory duties, and product or service fulfillment.

6. Payments, Payouts, and Third-Party Processors

Payment processing is handled by third-party providers such as Stripe or Paystack. Their terms and privacy policies apply. We are not liable for processor outages, chargeback decisions, or bank network failures.

For staged in-person flows, any remaining balance is presented to the customer for active confirmation at redemption. No final merchant charge should be assumed without customer confirmation and compliant processor setup.

Nigeria (NGN) in-person staged policy: initial booking charge is 10% of the listed discounted deal amount at checkout, and the remaining 90% is charged only after desk scan confirmation through the configured processor flow.

7. Refunds and Disputes

Refund eligibility depends on plan type, merchant policy, and payment processor rules. Where required, disputes should first be raised through support with complete order details.

Reservation fees for in-person deals may be non-refundable once anti-fraud checks, pass issuance, or merchant capacity allocation has occurred, except where required by law or where a merchant fails to honor confirmed terms.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not use the service for fraud, scraping, impersonation, spam, reverse engineering, unauthorized access, or any activity that harms users, merchants, or infrastructure.

9. Intellectual Property

Platform software, branding, and non-user content are owned by FolaDeals or licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, or exploit protected content without permission.

10. Disclaimers

Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FolaDeals will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FolaDeals and its affiliates from claims, losses, and costs arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access immediately for security events, legal requests, policy breaches, or abuse patterns. You may stop using the service at any time.

14. Changes to Service and Terms

We may update features, pricing, and these terms. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the revised terms.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable laws in your operating jurisdiction and mandatory consumer rights where required. Add your governing law and venue before public launch.
